Anuj Thapan Revenge: Lawrence Bisnoi Gang Social Media Claim Baba Siddique Murder

On April 14, 2024, two individuals opened fire outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan Galaxy Apartment in the Bandra area of Mumbai. The police arrested the shooters, Vicky Gupta (24) and Sagar Pal (21) within Gujarat immediately after the incidence. Further arrests were carried out on Sonu Kumar, Chander Bishnoi, and Anuj Thapan (23) from Punjab on grounds of supplying weapons to the shooters. Anuj Thapan is said to have hanged himself from a bed-sheet from the toilet in his jail cell some days later.

Two suspects have been arrested, identified as Karnail Singh from Haryana and Dharamraj Kashyap from Uttar Pradesh. A third suspect remains at large.

According to the police, Anuj had tried to hang himself from a bedsheet on the toilet of the lockup. He was rushed to GT Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead. The native of Punjab, Anuj Thapan, at the time of his arrest already had three cases registered against him-including charges of attempted murder and extortion.

Bisnoi Gang Social Media Claims

A social media post by a user named Shubu Lonkar Maharashtra, doing rounds and claiming a few things over the murder. The post reads:
Neither did we want this war, but you killed our brother Salman Khan. Baba Siddique, against whom blame is being meted out today, was once a part of MCOCA with Dawood. The reason for his killing was to link Anuj Thapan and Dawood with Bollywood, politics, and property dealings. We do not have any kind of enmity with anyone, but whoever supports Salman Khan and the Dawood gang should beware. If any of our brothers are killed, we will retaliate. We did not attack first.

Lawrence Bisnoi Gang: Memebers and Name

In June 2024, the police of Navi Mumbai arrested four men linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang for planning to attack the car. The accused arrested include Dhananjay Tapesingh alias Ajay Kashyap, Gaurav Bhatia alias Nahvi, Waspi Khan alias Wasim Chikna, and Rizwan Khan alias Javed Khan.
