The ritual for worshipping Mata Skandamata includes:
- Bathing, wearing clean clothes, and preparing an offering (bhog).
- Offering prasad such as bananas, the goddess’s favorite fruit, along with flowers and cardamoms.
- Lighting a deepam (lamp) and offering sacred water.
- Reciting the mantra: Om Devi Skandamatayai Namah.
