Shrutika made her film debut at age 16 in the Tamil movie Sri (2002), opposite Suriya. She gained recognition for her role as Ammu in the Malayalam film Swapnam Kondu Thulabharam.

After a brief acting career, she left the industry to focus on her education but returned in 2022 to participate in the reality series Cooku with Comali, where she emerged as the winner.
