Household name on Indian television in the early 2000, Vilas Sethi passed away yesterday, September 8 at the age of 48. He had appeared in many popular shows, such as Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kahiin To Hoga, and Kasautii Zindagi Ki. Vikas reportedly died of a cardiac arrest while he was sleeping.

Surviving him are Vikas Sethi's wife, Jhanvi Sethi, and his twin sons, who were born in 2021. Many in the television industry are shocked over his death. He died in his sleep with a massive heart attack, Telly Chakkar reported.

Vikas Sethi Death & Biography

He is mostly remembered for the characters Swayam Shergill in the series Kahiin To Hoga and Prem Basu in the series Kasautii Zindgii Kay. In 2021, Vikas had undergone surgery on his leg and had shared all his updates with his followers through Instagram. In a video, he said that even though he was getting advice from doctors for resting on a bed for one and a half months, he had planned to recover earlier and even planned to meet friends and thereby create content for his fans.

Vikas Sethi's death has left a vacuum within his family, friends, and fans, as they remember him not only as the powerful actor but also as a kind human being.
