Amar is an Tamil-language biographical action-war film. Directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, starring Karthi and Mohan Raman. Released on 31st of October in 2024, The story is about the life of Major Mukund Varadarajan. He was one of those who received an Ashoka Chakra. He is the one under whose military operations in Kashmir, the greatest valour was performed. His inspiring real-life story is known through the book India's Most Fearless, co-written by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh.
